Prof. Dr. Chee-Onn Leong is a seasoned cancer biologist and scientific leader with extensive experience spanning academia, clinical research, and translational genomics. Prior to founding AGTC Genomics, he served as Deputy Director of Research and Professor at the International Medical University (IMU). He previously held positions as a Senior Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, where he was involved in advanced cancer and biomedical research.
Prof. Leong is internationally recognised for his scientific contributions and is a Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (FIBMS, UK), Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology (FRSB, UK), Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC, UK), and a Fellow of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia (FASc).
