Dr. Jonathan Lim

Consultant Clinical Geneticist

Dr. Lim is a senior clinical geneticist with more than 18 years of experience managing inherited disorders, rare diseases, and hereditary cancer syndromes. He has led multidisciplinary genomics clinics integrating next-generation sequencing into routine clinical practice, significantly improving diagnostic yield and patient outcomes.

He has contributed to national guidelines on genetic testing pathways and regularly advises on variant interpretation, clinical reporting standards, and physician education. At AGTC Genomics, Dr. Lim provides critical guidance on clinical relevance, test validation, and translation of complex genomic data into actionable medical insights for clinicians and patients.

Prof. Tan is a globally recognised molecular medicine researcher with over 120 peer-reviewed publications in genomics, biomarker discovery, and molecular diagnostics. Her research has played a key role in advancing genomic assays for cancer stratification and precision therapeutics.

She has served on international research advisory panels and has successfully led multiple translational genomics programmes from bench to bedside. As part of AGTC’s advisory council, Prof. Tan shapes scientific strategy, assay development, and research integrity, ensuring AGTC’s genomics solutions remain aligned with cutting-edge science and global clinical standards.

Dr. Ahmad Farid Rahman

Consultant Pathologist & Genomics Advisor

Dr. Ahmad is a consultant pathologist specialising in molecular diagnostics and laboratory-based genomics. He has overseen the implementation of next-generation sequencing platforms in accredited diagnostic laboratories, focusing on quality assurance, laboratory governance, and regulatory compliance.

With extensive experience in molecular oncology and inherited disease diagnostics, Dr. Ahmad ensures genomic workflows meet clinical accuracy and reproducibility requirements. At AGTC Genomics, he advises on laboratory best practices, diagnostic reporting standards, and integration of genomics into pathology services, strengthening trust and reliability across testing pipelines.
