AGTC Genomics Collaborates with VietHope Medical Center to Support Personalised Healthcare in Vietnam
Connecting genomics expertise, multidisciplinary medical care and continuing medical education to support informed health decisions.

AGTC Genomics is working with VietHope Medical Center in Vietnam to support the integration of genomic insights into personalised healthcare, bringing together molecular expertise, multidisciplinary clinical care and professional education.
The engagement was further supported by a recent successful continuing medical education (CME) session, providing a platform for professional exchange and discussion on the role of genomics in clinical practice.
VietHope: Comprehensive Care in a Healing Environment
VietHope is a large-scale medical centre in Ho Chi Minh City, designed around a green, restorative environment. With the ambition of becoming a leading, trusted healthcare destination in the city, VietHope places emphasis on both medical care and the overall patient experience.
Its vision extends beyond treating disease to improving quality of life through high-quality medical services, modern equipment and the application of scientific and technological advances. Shorter waiting times, coordinated care and a more comfortable patient journey are central to this approach.
VietHope brings together doctors across a broad range of specialties, including internal medicine, general and orthopaedic surgery, neurology, gastroenterology, paediatrics, gynaecology, andrology, cardiology, otolaryngology, dermatology, dentistry and ophthalmology. Diagnostic imaging, emergency care, infection control and experienced technical teams further support its multidisciplinary services.
Alongside medical treatment, the centre incorporates supportive approaches such as meditation, art and music therapy, rehabilitation and psychological support, reflecting its focus on physical recovery and mental wellbeing.

Supporting Clinical Adoption Through Education
The recent CME session reflects the importance of connecting advances in genomic science with the needs of healthcare professionals. Professional education provides a foundation for understanding when genomic testing may be useful, how findings should be interpreted and how results can inform appropriate patient care.
For AGTC Genomics, supporting clinical understanding is an essential part of delivering genomics solutions. The objective extends beyond providing a laboratory result to helping healthcare professionals assess its relevance within each patient’s clinical circumstances.
Connecting Genomic Insights with Multidisciplinary Care
AGTC Genomics contributes expertise in genomic testing, bioinformatics and scientific interpretation to support a more individualised understanding of health.
Working with VietHope provides an opportunity to connect molecular findings with multidisciplinary clinical expertise. When considered alongside clinical assessments, family history and lifestyle, genomic information can support informed discussions about risk assessment, screening, further investigation and care, where clinically appropriate.
The shared focus is on translating scientific information into meaningful insights while keeping patient understanding, wellbeing and experience at the centre.
Strengthening Regional Healthcare Connections
Working with VietHope represents a further step in AGTC Genomics’ efforts to connect genomics expertise with healthcare delivery in Vietnam and across Southeast Asia.
Through clinical engagement and continuing education, both organisations aim to support a more informed and personalised approach to healthcare.
